Football and First Fall Fair

Fall was definitely in the air today. Low 50’s temperature this morning and a little nip in the air. Like a lot of weekends, we began with a shotgun start. Susan, Hannah and Jake headed to the Oakville Christian Campus where Jake was working the school’s Fall Fair. t the same time, Josh and I headed to the football field for his game.

Josh had another great game. He is settling into the running back position, while still doing an awesome job at safety. He played well and had a great fun. More importantly, he is always the only kid that stays behind to say “thank you” to each of his coaches after the game.

From there, we headed over to the school for the Fair. Josh and Hannah had a great time playing with their friends. Kids from our neighborhood, Graham and Mitchell, and the kids from their classes had a great time on the games and rides. Susan and I had a chance to meet some new American families to the area. It is always a treat to meet people from the USA when we are out and about.

Finished the day with a great Saturday night service at Harvest Oakville. Afterwards, we all agreed that it is the best church we have gone to. That said, we sped out of the parking lot like crazy people so that we could get home for the Auburn game!

War Eagle.
